Master Business Administration: Health

In the MSc BA Health you develop the key competences to understand and make a difference in this highly relevant sector. The course offerings combine healthcare management and health economics. You are provided with options to develop a more managerial or a more economic focus. Yet, you also look beyond the managerial or economic perspective: how to take the clients', clinicians', carers', and insurers' positions into regard? MSc BA Health Graduates have solidly prepared themselves to contribute to the multifaceted world of healthcare and prevention.

Structure of program:
To fulfill the programme requirements, you need to follow:

1) Four mandatory courses (5 EC each, 20 EC in total):
- Healthcare Operations
- Innovation in Healthcare Organizations
- Economic Evaluation of Healthcare
- Research& Skills for MSc BA

2) Students have to select 2 out of 5 electives. The electives have a focus on Healthcare Management or Health Economics

3) Students may choose additional electives.

4) You should write and successfully defend your Master's thesis.

Entry requirements:

To be eligible for admission to this Master, you need to hold an academic Bachelor's or Master's degree from a research university in one of the following - or closely related - fields: Business Administration,Business Economics, Econometrics and Operations Research, Economics and Business Economics, International Business, Technology Management

To assess whether your educational/academic background meets the specific programme requirements, we will consider the level and curriculum of your previous studies, and the grades that you have obtained.

language test: TOEFL internet based (IBT): 90, IELTS Academic: 6.5;

Length and timing of program:

Two year full-time.


Online or residential/on-site program:

On-site in Groningen, The Netherlands.
