Presentation Information

Presentation Time

All parallel sessions at the congress will be 90 minutes long. In each session, 30 minutes will be made available for discussion

All presentations during the 8:00 -9:30 AM time slot on Monday July 10th are short presentations.

The short oral presentation format is an innovation for the Boston congress. It is not envisaged as an attempt to cram a full-length presentation into a shorter time slot. Instead it is a presentation that focuses on key messages, using the format of presentations that are sometimes referred to as PechaKucha, a lightning talk or an elevator presentation. This method of short presentation is being increasingly widely used in academic contexts.

Guidance on short oral presentations.
