After introducing some principles and methods in our first webinar we will now move on to look at some empirical applications. We have two excellent speakers.

Dr Frida Ngalesoni will be taking us through her work which examined the equity impact of medical approaches to cardiovascular disease prevention in Tanzania.  https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0277953616304695.

Asst Prof Akshar Saxena will present research modelling the impact of a tax on sweetened beverages in the Philippines https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6357567/.
