Health system’s performance: how to measure it and why?

This webinar will introduce a general framework for thinking about health system’s performance and present different measurement methods, reflecting on issues emerging in the debate about international comparisons of different health systems. The webinar aims to provide insights into comparative analyses of health systems and promote a better understanding of the potential and limitations of performance measurement.

Speaker: Zeynep Or

Zeynep Or is research director at IRDES and is also affiliated to the department of economics in University Paris-Dauphine. She has a PhD. and HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches).  Zeynep specializes in evaluation of health system’s performance from an international comparison perspectives, including the determinants of health outcomes, analysis of efficiency, equity and health service quality.
