About the Webinar
Join the Economics of Palliative & End of Life Care Special Interest Group (SIG) for a discussion on What Matters to People Near End of Life?
Research into what matters to people near the end of life is essential for delivering compassionate, high-quality care. It informs services that align with patients’ values, preferences, and priorities, rather than assumptions made by professionals. Understanding these perspectives improves symptom management, communication, and decision-making, while supporting dignity and emotional well-being. It can also inform measurement approaches in economic evaluation, policy and service design, promoting more person-centred and equitable care for individuals and their families at a critical stage of life.
