HTA Project Manager
Location: UK
Background: My client is a global presence in Pharmaceutical Research & Development, due to an internal promotion in their UK affiliate office they have a requirement for a HTA Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with regional HTA bodies, project manage, contribute to and deliver the companies submissions to these organisations and you will act as an internal consultant to the Global and national teams, particularly to pricing & reimbursement.
Experience / Qualifications
The successful candidate will have either a professional qualification in economics or a degree in health economics coupled with a minimum of 2 years experience of Health Economic evaluation. Experience in compiling HTA submission will be a distinct advantage

Health Technology Analyst: Centre for Health Technology
Location: Manchester, England, UK

Band 7: £27,622 p.a.
Reporting to the associate director, you will join the team assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of health technologies (Multiple and Single Technology Appraisals). You will be taking on some of the toughest challenges in NHS policy making, with an innovative, evolving organisation that will support your on going personal development, and play a pivotal role in the Appraisal Programme. You will be involved in the scoping for an appraisal, liaising with academic and stakeholder groups and presenting the evidence base to the Appraisals Committee. In addition, you will be advising the Appraisals Committee of key technical issues, and drafting guidance to the NHS.
With skills in health economics, medical statistics, clinical trials, epidemiology or related areas, you will be an enthusiastic analyst with a relevant postgraduate qualification (eg health economics, public health, clinical pharmacology, health service research). Critical appraisal, interpretation and synthesis of healthcare research evidence; along with familiarity with evidence-based healthcare, methods of health technology assessment and health economics are essential. You should demonstrate the ability to analyse diverse complex information and issues to support decision and policy making, write clearly and concisely; and work independently to tight deadlines. Yu will also be confident presenting on complex issues to large groups; establishing good working relationships with a range of professional and working flexibly as part of a team.
