Faculty Position in Economics: University of California

Pending budgetary approval, The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine seeks candidates for one position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Economics/Public Policy area to begin July 1, 2011. We seek candidates with an outstanding research record in industrial organization, health care, and health economics. We are especially interested in candidates at the advanced assistant professor level, though outstanding candidates at the new assistant professor level will also be considered. Candidates should hold a PhD in economics. The ideal candidate will show interest in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels (including MBA-level microeconomics) as well as participating in the Merage School’s Center for Health Care Management and Policy. Salary and benefits will be competitive.
