An excellent opportunity exists within a growing global pharmaceutical focused on end-of-life care addressing life-threatening conditions. Located within Switzerland and reporting directly to the Head of Pricing & Market Access, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build global experience and deliver Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) data for use within global reimbursement submissions. Background
Payors at national and regional level are increasingly demanding evidence on the value of new treatments in terms of formal economic analyses in both the initial pricing and reimbursement applications and in the context of P&R re-negotiations. In parallel, a number of Health Technology Assessment groups are also increasing across different global regions with continued focus on the formalization of country specific and, highly complex, sophisticated analytical techniques.

Major Responsibilities
- Develop International Health Economic Research Strategy for new indications in alignment with Medical and Marketing strategies.
- Lead and drive all related studies and analyses: resource utilization studies, cost of care studies, cross-sectional studies, patient chart reviews, meta-analyses, epidemiological analyses etc.
- Ensure full understanding of the target indications, target patient segments, treatment algorithms, market environment and business environment
- Enhance brand value through the elaboration of robust health outcome arguments for the clien’s products.
- Represent the P&MA function in Global Product Teams and/or clinical sub-teams
- Lead/chair the project/product-related international HE Committees, working groups or networks.
- Generate additional data alongside product development to translate clinical surrogates into quantified differential value and relevant market access endpoints.

- Provide support to local health technology appraisals (HTAs)

Main responsibilities
We are seeking an economist who can apply their skills and knowledge to the field of health.
