Our client is a successful, global and growing pharmaceutical company with an impressive portfolio of in-market products and a strong pipeline which is focused on CNS, GI, Oncology and acute care. With affiliates in all the major European markets and a UK based, European management team, they are now ready to make this new appointment - European Head of Market Access - in this crucial function.
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Head, you will set up and develop the market access function at a European level. The company has a small global HEOR team based in the UK and the USA with whom you will work closely to ensure that all the necessary information is robust and available to meet the needs of the affiliates, pricing authorities and HTA bodies. You will also support the nominated managers in the affiliates in their pricing negotiations. Essentially you will be the European expert and co-ordinator on all matters HEOR, Pricing and Reimbursement and Market Access within your business unit.
An experienced health economist with advanced technical skills and, ideally multi-national experience, you have a well developed commercial perspective and proven leadership skills. Naturally you have the gravitas and diplomatic skills to influence senior affiliate managers and decision makers in Government departments, payers and HTA bodies. Self sufficient and able to think on your feet, you relish a challenge and deliver positive results.
