Strategy Consultant

Location: London UK

My client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company with world-class capabilities in pharmacoepidemiology and outcomes research. They are looking to grow their consulting team and take on board knowledgeable, experienced and motivated Strategy Consultants to build on strong existing business and support ambitious growth plans.

This is a high-visibility position with their pharmaceutical clients, providing challenging opportunities, professional development, varied global projects and the chance to develop a deep expertise in the vital area of pharmaceutical market access.

The successful candidate will enjoy the development opportunities afforded by joining a new team at its inception and taking a hand in shaping our offerings and products with a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of a new consultancy business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the consulting propositions to address the market access needs of pharmaceutical clients
  • Lead the delivery of client engagements maintaining close contact with senior clients to ensure expectations are met with high quality deliverables
  • Engage senior stakeholders from health systems and clinical practice across Europe when expert opinions are needed
  • Support the Head of Strategy Consulting in identifying new leads and new propositions to develop the business

Requirements

  • Extensive commercial experience in the healthcare sector
  • Proven track record of strategy development for either pharmaceutical or a related industry ideally within a top strategy consultancy firm
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple senior client relationships
  • Strong project management and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Broad knowledge of the UK and other EU health systems
  • Ideally experience of developing Pricing and Reimbursement strategy or Brand Marketing strategy
  • Strong academic qualifications to at least first degree level (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred)
