Research Associate/Fellow Health Economics: University Of Nottingham School of Sociology and Social Polic

Location: Nottingham, England, UK
Contract Status: This post is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of two years.
Salary: £24,273 - £35,646 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary can progress to #38,951 per annum, subject to performance) - (#26,523 per annum maximum without PhD)

Job Outline

  • Liaise with and support the designated CLAHRC research projects in the design execution and analysis of the health economic elements of the projects.
  • Support the Chair of the Economics of Health and Social Policy in economic evaluation and the CLAHRC.
  • Support the Chair of the Economics of Health and Social Policy in the execution and analysis of additional health economic projects within the school.
  • Write the health economics elements of CLAHRC research protocols and collaborate with the research teams.
  • Identify research funding opportunities, write bids.
  • Attend and contribute to CLAHRC events.
  • Collaborate in research output and support in the writing of papers for academic and practitioner audiences.
  • Work with research fellows in the engagement theme on access to care/occupational engagement.
  • Contribute to health economics teaching within the school where appropriate.
  • Attend HEADS meetings.
