As the Sr. Research Analyst at Healthcore, Inc. you will analyze “real-time” data to develop higher quality, safer, and more affordable healthcare solutions. This data and the solutions derived from it, will be used by the Federal Government, academia, the biopharmaceutical industry, and the healthcare industry at large to improve the quality of care patients receive. Your work will have a direct, positive impact on the lives of millions of individuals across the globe.

In particular, you will have the opportunity to join the Safety and Epidemiology Service Team in Wilmington, DE or Andover, MA. You will collaborate and lead the research team consisting of clinicians, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and programmers to ensure effective solutions are developed for the pharmaceutical, biotech and device manufacturer industries.

HealthCore’s projects range from retrospective to large-scale, prospective studies in the areas of drug, vaccine, and medical device safety surveillance, risk management, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes, pharmaeconomics, and comparative effectiveness research.

This position requires:

  • A masters or doctoral level degree or relevant education and/or equivalent training in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced statistical techniques, such as propensity score matching, marginal structural models, spatial analysis, survival analysis, and/or signal detection techniques preferred.
  • Strong study design, analytic skills, and proficiency in programming with one or more statistical applications (SAS, Stata) are required.
  • Experience with health plan administrative databases (pharmacy and medical claims) is a plus.
