The Job

The Public Health Policy Program within the Health, Public Health and Environment Division of RTI International has an immediate opening for a Public Health Analyst to coordinate and assist with the conduct of public health research and evaluation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting complex statistical/econometric analyses

  • Coordination and management of health research activities

  • Conducting literature reviews

  • Management of correspondence and project communications

  • Assistance with the submission of grants and contract proposal

Qualifications for the position include:

  • A Masters in Economics, Health Policy or Public Health is required.

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Strong academic record

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills/experience:

  • Proficiency with STATA

  • Experience with technical writing

  • Experience or class work related to evaluation

  • Familiarity with major health surveys (e.g., NLSY, BRFSS, NHIS, MEPS)
