The Job
The Public Health Policy Program within the Health, Public Health and Environment Division of RTI International has an immediate opening for a Public Health Analyst to coordinate and assist with the conduct of public health research and evaluation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting complex statistical/econometric analyses
Coordination and management of health research activities
Conducting literature reviews
Management of correspondence and project communications
Assistance with the submission of grants and contract proposal
Qualifications for the position include:
A Masters in Economics, Health Policy or Public Health is required.
Strong quantitative skills
Strong academic record
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills/experience:
Proficiency with STATA
Experience with technical writing
Experience or class work related to evaluation
Familiarity with major health surveys (e.g., NLSY, BRFSS, NHIS, MEPS)
