The University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Department of
Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, seeks candidates for a tenure-track
Assistant or Associate Professor position in pharmacoepidemiology,
pharmacoeconomics, or socio-behavioral aspects of medication use. This
is a full-time 12 month time limited appointment, renewed annually.
The candidate will hold a key position in the department’s FDA/CDER
scholarship program, which trains individuals on the MS or PhD level for
research positions at CDER. Service responsibilities will include
committee memberships and departmental organization. Salary for this
position will be $78,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in pharmacoepidemiology or epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, or socio-behavioral aspects of medication use. A background in pharmacy is desirable but not required. Emphasis will be on strong quantitative skills, a promising publication record, and experience with extramural funding.
