EMEA Therapeutic Area Lead HE&MA
Location: South East England
Salary: Competitive
My client is a Mid-Size Pharmaceutical organisation who is increasing their HE&MA department due to an excellent portfolio. This position is to hold primary accountability for Health Economic and Market Access support of one of my clients key therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of market opportunities and achievement of business targets in support of our Medical Business Unit
- Create organisational alignment behind priority objectives, milestones and deliverables
- Flexibility to execute at an operational and strategic level, with a real focus on implementing solutions and showing value, translating theory into practice and action into results.
- Demonstrate an up to date understanding of pricing and reimbursement methodologies together with a good knowledge of HTA practice across EMEA, ready to support the diverse needs of our portfolio towards optimal outcomes
- Maintain a high level of knowledge concerning changing customer requirements and the alignment of such with existing and evolving guidelines and policy
- Establish a sound understanding of relevant Pricing and Reimbursement criteria and the likely payer perception of the product value proposition in key markets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified to at least Degree level or equivalent work experience
- Professional qualifications in one of the following areas would be desirable but not essential: Economics; Health Economics; Health Policy; Healthcare Management etc
- Experienced professional with an excellent understanding of Market Access and/or Pricing and Reimbursement.
- Strong understanding of Health Economic principles and the ability to assimilate and simplify data and concepts effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Preferably work experience gained at a European or International level
- A natural networker with the ability to establish and maintain effective and credible working relationships.
- Flexible and adaptable style with the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.
- Strong matrix management skills and leadership ability.
