Lecturer in Global Health Economics: Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME)

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) and the Department of Global Health within the School of Medicine and the School of Public Health at the University of Washington are recruiting to fill two faculty positions at the Lecturer level.
The successful applicant(s) will have a PhD in economics, finance, computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, statistics, decision science, development or other related field plus two years related experience. Successful applicant(s) will have demonstrated research involving financial, economic or statistical analysis with a particular interest in health. Must have experience using either STATA, R, or a related statistical package for analysis and demonstrated experience working on quantitative research linked directly to public policy analysis.
The Lecturer(s) will be a member of the Disease Control Priorities Network team, which aims to inform the allocation of resources across intervention and health service delivery platforms. Lecturer(s) will also take on an important leadership role in mentoring pre?doctoral and post?doctoral fellows.
