Development and Critical Appraisal of Models of Cost Effectiveness of Health Technologies

University of Liverpool - School of Population, Community and Behavioural Sciences

The Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group (LRiG) conducts high quality systematic reviews of clinical and cost-effectiveness of healthcare technologies. It is funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme and informs the development of guidance by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

You will work within a review team and focus on the development and critical appraisal of models of cost effectiveness of health technologies. You will have either an MSc or PhD in Statistics, Health Economics or Operational Research, an ability to manage both quantitative and qualitative data and possess good organisational and communication skills. Prior experience in developing and critiquing economic models is preferred. The post is available for 2 years.
