Health Economist: Yale School of Public Health

Section: US: Full-Time Academic (Permanent, Tenure Track or Tenured)

The Division of Health Policy, Yale School of Public Health and the Center for Analytic Sciences are seeking a faculty member with a PhD in Health Economics or related area (e.g. medical decision making). The faculty member will work with both groups and will collaborate with clinical and other investigators at the Yale Medical School on economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness studies. The position involves consultation, collaboration and support for clinical researchers as well as developing one’s own independent research projects. Some teaching of young investigators is required; teaching of Masters students is an option.

Required: doctoral degree in Health Economics or related areas with expertise in economic evaluations, cost-effectiveness analysis and/or decision analysis in public health and medicine. Excellent econometric and programming skills. Grant writing experience is a plus.
