The Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research is currently seeking to appoint an experienced researcher with an outstanding track record as Professorial Research Fellow. Applications from exceptional candidates in all fields of economics are welcome, however, preference may be given to candidates whose research expertise expands on, and is complementary to, the Institute’s existing research strengths. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake scholarly research, both individually and jointly with colleagues, supervise and support research staff and doctoral candidates, participate in public discussion and debate about important national issues, and be active in the seeking of research funding from government and business sectors.
