We are seeking a senior economist with experience of leading research that is recognised as being internationally excellent. We are not prescribing any specific research focus and applications from economists not currently working in health economics research units are welcome. Applicants will be expected to describe the coherence and likely synergies of their research activities with current health economics and/or applied health research work at the University of Leeds. The successful applicant will work with the Director of the Unit to strengthen and broaden the current research portfolio, as well as assisting in the development of a balanced teaching portfolio over the next three to five years.

You will be expected to provide leadership in research and teaching and contribute to management/ administration as indicated below, with approximate breakdown of duties being 15% teaching/administration (excluding postgraduate research students) and 75% research/research administration/research supervision (including postgraduate research students) and 10% management and administration.
