Post-doc position in Health and labor economics for HEAPS project: IRDES

IRDES (A French Research Center in Health Economics located in Paris - http://www.irdes.fr/EspaceAnglais/home.html) intends to fill a Post-Doc Position at the earliest possible convenience. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of an extension by another year. This stay can be discussed. The position includes no teaching obligation. A preference will be given to candidates with a background in applied health economics, social capital studies or labor economics of older workers.
The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to do independent research in his/her respective fields but is strongly expected to actively interact with other researchers of the IRDES. The successful candidate should hold a PhD in economics or a related field. French language skills are not a requirement but it would be an advantage.
HEAPS (Health Economics of Ageing and Participation in Society) project is funded by the French National Agency for Research (ANR). The core objective of this project is to shed light on the institutional determinants of individuals trade-offs between labour and retirement at ages 50 to 65, across Europe. This research mainly combines SHARE individual data and OECD macro-series.
Wage will range from about 2.000 to about 2.200 Euros per month. Funds for travel and research support are provided.
