Junior Consultant - Health Economist

A developmental role with opportunities to work with and learn from cross-functional teams at Double Helix Consulting; specialising in P& R, Health Economic modelling and market access consultancy across established and emerging markets
Experience sought
- MSc in Health Economics (ideal), Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Medical or Statistics
- 1 year Experience within healthcare research, consultancy environment or in a pharmaceutical company (desirable)
- Successful track record of writing scientific publications
- Hands-on experience of developing and validating Health Economic models
- Technical and scientific knowledge in economics research methodologies and their application within healthcare and access to medicines
- Team-work orientation and problem solving attitude
- Knowledge of HTA, pricing and reimbursement strategies (desirable)
- Knowledge of Bayesian techniques (desirable)
Areas of responsibility
- Support Senior Health Economists in conducting economic evaluations to inform client strategy and product commercialisation
- Support Senior Health Economist in developing a successful Health Economics practice in providing data and analysis for the models
- Support other aspects of DHC business, in particular the emerging markets Consultancy and P&R practice
- Building network of Health Economic KOLs within and outside of UK as well as liaison with project team members
