Principal Health Outcomes Research Associate: Allergan

The Principal Health Outcomes Research Associate, Global Health Outcomes Strategy and Research, works with members of the Global Health Outcomes Strategy and Research team, European Health Economic Unit, and other R and D and commercial areas in facilitating and executing health outcomes research studies to support new and existing products. The incumbent will be responsible for leading departmental initiatives regarding support systems and processes to facilitate appropriate conduct and documentation of ongoing project work, including representation on appropriate R and D process committees. Coordinates health outcomes studies, planning and tracking, grants, and information systems, and coordinates dissemination of process and methodology initiatives across therapy areas. Presents health outcomes projects and information to groups internal and external to the company and serves as the University liaison for the health outcomes internship program.
- Must have 2 to 3 years experience in a field relevant to health outcomes with an additional 2 to 3 years of direct experience in the health outcomes field
- A four year college education with emphasis in either a business, life sciences, or health related discipline with an additional 3 to 5 years in a field relevant to health outcomes is required.
- In depth knowledge of health outcomes and drug development process, standards, and principles, with the ability to apply knowledge to practical uses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make effective presentation to groups that may include participants to whom English is a second language
- Must have proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven project management skills and ability to work effectively through others, with sensitivity to cultural differences
- Proficient in the utilization of computer software including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation programs
