In this position you will be responsible for:
Analyzing state and federal legislation and regulation
Developing policy alternatives or solutions
Representing Talecris at trade association policy committees (such as PPTA and PhRMA)
Participating as key member of the Public Policy Steering Committee (PPSC)
To qualify for this position, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, law or public policy. Master’s degree is preferred
8 years’ experience in the health care industry
Understanding of the U.S. federal and state public policy environment, and those agencies that influence the outcomes
An established network of contacts in the public health field
Experience in coalition management
Excellent communication and leadership skills
