The Group Health Research Institute is seeking candidates for a new faculty position in health services or health economics. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse colleagues and to develop an independent program of health services research in a large, defined population with state of the art health informatics systems.
The Institute is an internationally recognized academic research organization with a faculty of 35 MD and PhD investigators, 15 biostatisticians, and over 250 staff members. Group Health Cooperative is a non-profit, consumer-governed, integrated health care organization and an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in health services, health economics or a relevant discipline. Areas of special interest include health system design, health care finance, physician productivity and the economics of prevention and chronic disease management. Appointees would be encouraged to explore affiliation with the University of Washington School of Public Health.
