LSE Health seeks to appoint a full-time Senior Research Fellow with a research background in health policy, health economics, health services research or public health and epidemiology to support the high quality research the Centre undertakes. The post is expected to commence in June/July 2010, and is funded for three years in the first instance.

The successful candidate will liaise closely with other senior staff in the relevant discipline to develop research ideas and identify opportunities for high quality research, taking on the role of principal investigator where appropriate. They will be expected to produce high quality research publications, support junior staff/PhD students and contribute to taught postgraduate programmes.

The successful candidates will hold a PhD in one of the aforementioned disciplines and have a relevant social science background, as well as having a national/international reputation and a strong publications record. They should have experience of project management and evidence of success in preparing/contributing to competitive research bids.
