Here at Turning Point, our focus is on helping people in the most disadvantaged communities to turn their lives around. We have developed Connected Care in ten geographical areas which is our model for community led commissioning where communities are central to the design and delivery of health and social care services. A core part of our offering is cost benefit analysis, realising the financial benefits of integrating health, housing and social care. Now we’re looking for an expert to deliver this work.
This is an outstanding opportunity to use your analytical and data modelling skills to help improve health and social care services for some the most deprived communities in the UK. You’ll directly influence our cost benefit methodology and undertake cost benefit analysis in each of our Connected Care projects. You will lead, develop and implement cost benefit analysis, as well as refine and amend our approach. You will analyse data and work with health and social care commissioners and local representatives to translate findings into plans for the development of more joined-up responsive local services. Building the evidence base of what works in cost benefit analysis in the public sector will also be a central part of the role.
You should have the ability to build relationships and work in partnership with statutory bodies in order to gain necessary data. Add to that good management, communication and report-writing skills and you will quickly make your mark as part of our team. If you are looking to have a positive impact on the society in which we live and a position at a senior level, this is it. Above all, you’re driven by a desire to make a real difference with a positive and outcome focused attitude.
The post holder will receive external supervision from Dr. Jose-Luis Fernandez (PSSRU at the London School of Economics and Political Science). http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/PSSRU/staff/fernandez.htm
