Boehringer Ingelheim is a privately-owned world-wide pharmaceutical corporation. Dedicated to researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing pharmaceuticals that improve health and quality of life.

In the UK we were awarded 41st place in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For 2009. We are very proud of this achievement and believe that it demonstrates our commitment to our employees

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious global pharmaceutical company with a powerful and successful research base. Boehringer Ingelheim is currently expanding its Health Economics and Outcomes Research team and is seeking to appoint a Health Economist with proven experience to assist in the continued development of a pro-active in-house approach to the economic evaluation of its pharmaceutical products.

To join our team, you will ideally have an MSc in Health Economics (or a related, relevant qualification). You will have a good working knowledge of all methods of economic evaluation, as well as practical experience. We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who should be expecting to manage their own portfolio from day 1. You will work closely with the Health Policy Manager (Oncology) and a second senior health economist (oncology) to develop and deliver the health economics and market access strategy for Boehringer Ingelheim’s oncology portfolio.

Your contribution to Boehringer Ingelheim’s programme will be rewarded with a competitive salary as well as the benefits package, career progression and training associated with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation.

Our employees are vital to our success and we aim to attract the best people who will stay and grow with us. We offer our employees opportunities to develop and advance their careers at both national and international level and we have created an environment that provides a good quality of life with a range of attractive benefits.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
