Senior Health Economist
Location: UK Based
Background
My client is a global Pharmaceutical company which is dedicated to the discovery and development and marketing of pharmaceutical products, as part of their continued development they now wish to appoint an experienced Health Economist. This is an outstanding opportunity for advancement within one of the world leading Pharmaceutical companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop health economic strategies
- Produce health technology assessments to support market access
- Plan and implement projects and submissions to customers
- Develop new research methods for projects
- Effectively manage relationships with external consultancies working on projects and publications
- Provide input to clinical trial design, and analyse resource use data
Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Health / Economics
- Experience of applied health economics in either the pharmaceutical industry, or a contract organisation
- Experience in modelling and methods of economic evaluation
- Pro active with the ability to manage own portfolio
- Responsible for making health technology submissions
- Understanding of the NHS, and customer needs for value demonstration
