We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic visionary in the role of Health Economics Sr. Manager. This person will develop strategies and projects that leverage the value proposition created by the Global and Regional Health Economics, Medical and Business teams and oversee these projects throughout their lifecycles.
Working both independently and in collaboration with vendors and multiple departments within Amgen, the Sr. Manager will coordinate large-scale projects and associated budgets while developing computer health services models and programs to following health economics projects from inception to publication.
Our ideal candidate will hold a Masters, PharmD or PhD in Health Economics, Outcomes Research or Health Services Research, and experience conducting or overseeing computer programming (Visual Basic / MapInfo) and/or sophisticated modeling skills. Over 4 years of experience in health services or outcomes research and over 4 years experience managing large scale projects, budgets, and portfolios is preferred.
