The Melbourne Institute has an organisational structure with research teams and publications in five major areas: labour economics and social policy; applied macroeconomics; health economics; industrial economics and the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey. A Research Officer is required to provide research support within the health economics research program on various projects. The opportunity also exists for you to undertake PhD study with the Melbourne Institute on a part-time basis. The position has provision to allow 20% time allocation to PhD study, with the remaining 80% of time allocated to providing research support. Otherwise, the position is full time.
