Postdoctoral Fellowship (x2): Institute for Health Research and Policy, University of Illinois

The Health Policy Center in the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago is pleased to announce two openings for a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of health economics. In one position, the postdoctoral fellow will work closely with the center’s program on examining the importance of economic and contextual factors on obesity. In the second position, the research focus area is on the economics of tobacco and tobacco control in low and middle income countries. We are looking for qualified individuals with a recent Ph.D. in economics (or health policy/administration with a focus on health economics) with experience handling large micro data sets, strong econometric skills and an interest in health policy.
