Major Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for health economics and outcomes research initiatives within one the following therapeutic areas: Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Endocrine/Metabolic, Inflammatory Disease, including:
- Support business development activities (including, but not limited to development of proposals) to support pharmaceutical client needs within the therapeutic area
- Identification and acquisition of therapeutic-area specifics data resources to enhance i3’s existing data resources
- Responsibility for assessing staffing needs and hiring/recruitment of research staff required to support therapeutic area
- Resource and oversee execution of retrospective database, survey, and chart abstraction studies within therapeutic area
- Management of PhD and Master’s level staff in therapeutic area
- Advance dissemination of results via manuscript, reports, and conference presentations
- Coordination with other intercompany resources to support activities within therapeutic area
- Manage client relationships
- Oversee project teams and manage study budgets and timelines
- Mentor and train new research staff as needed
Qualifications:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in health services research (HSR), health economics, epidemiology, sociology, psychology or equivalent + 5, PharmD or MD plus 5 — 8 years of research experience.
- Minimum 10 years of research experience.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in project management of teams across multiple functional areas
- Experience designing research studies involving collection of patient-reported outcomes using survey research methodologies
- Experience conducting research utilizing secondary data sources a plus.
- Strong interpersonal savvy and the ability to build relationships both internally and with Customers

Job Description:
- Incorporating health economics, business analytics and competitive intelligence into the development of innovative strategies to gain, improve and defend public and private market access.
- Documenting HE&PP tactical plans, executing relevant portions of these plans and tracking and regular reporting on cross functional progress to plan to the Brand Team, FSC, line management and the relevant Corporate Affairs members at monthly reimbursement review meetings (MR2).
- Actively participating on key global teams and communicating issues/priorities to the Corporate Affairs and cross functional teams

Job profile
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all UK HTA submissions. Co-ordinate all HTA activities and team management to ensure the successful outcome of HTA appraisals.
Duties, Responsibilities, Activities
- Lead HTA submission activity
- Respond to commissions from marketing team for submission materials for large scale HTA’s or local PCO driven activity.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the UK HTA institutions, informing and educating the organisation on matters relating to the institutions, their processes, and outcomes
- Research and monitor the work programme of the HTA institutions for their impact
- Conduct capacity planning for future HTA submission development and recruits and co-ordinate out-sourced agency support on a needs basis
- Organise and implement HTA submissions, re-submissions and appeals including
- identifying timelines for scoping and developing submissions,
- Ensure quality submissions are developed and submitted to meet the required time
- deadlines which maximise the value of the brand across the whole product range.
- Provide input and technical guidance to members of the HTA team.
- Develop input on policy for implementation and practical aspects of HTA e.g.
- methodology guidelines Group and work with External Affairs to contribute to HTA policy and co-ordinate activity with Market Access Manager.
- Build close relationships with key influencers in regulatory authorities (NICE, SMC etc)
Education and Skills Required

The role
To work in a multidisciplinary and international team with expertise in epidemiology, health economics, statistics, strategic pricing, and outcomes research. You will be responsible for collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing epidemiological information in key disease areas, using a variety of in-house and external data sources. This information is essential for corporate decision-making on projects in the discovery and development phase, in supporting strategic planning, global lifecycle, business and in-licensing teams, as well as colleagues responsible for the economic strategy of a compound.
The candidate
You should have agraduate-level training in epidemiology, preferably with a medical or related background. You should have excellent command of basic principles of descriptive epidemiology, have superior analytical and communications skills, be able to work under pressure, and be interested in the application of epidemiology to pharmaceutical business/marketing processes. Fluent command of spoken and written English is essential.

Requirements:
