Barnett McCall Recruitment is searching, in the name of its client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, for a professional to fill in the position of: Health Economics Specialist.
The role of the position is to work alongside other departments on building “cases” for the company pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities:
- Sustain arguments for/against the authorities to build up the product.
- Keep close contact with authorities in the field, ministries, professors, specialists, medical doctors, pharmacists.
- Work on reimbursements, price approvals.
- Conducting health economic analyses, researches about the quality o life improvements for patients who use the product vs. those who don’t and the implications of long term health.
- Analyzing the financial costs for hospitals using the product vs. not using the product, increases in hospital budgets.
Requirements:
- Medicine/Pharmacy degree or Economic with Medicine post grad courses.
- Experience in the field.
- Very good English skills.
- Ability to communicate on all levels, good organizational skills.
