Health Outcomes Research Team Leader

Pharm-Olam International (‘POI’), a multi-national Contract Research Organization seeks an experienced Health Outcomes Research Team Leader to lead an initiative to develop a new department in Health Outcomes. This is a full-time, in-house role, based either in our Houston headquarters or Plainsboro offices.
Primary Goal:
Work with customers to conduct real world effectiveness research.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop Health Outcomes and Health Economics business from private and public sectors.
- Consumer research.
- Post marketing pharmaceutical, biological and medical device studies.
- Grants from governmental agencies, as well as the private sector for medical related research.
- Develop, translate and analyze PRO (patient reported outcomes) to support successful registration and product differentiation.
- Special projects as required.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Outcomes Research or related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience conducting health economics and outcomes research studies related to pharmaceutical products (including protocols, clinical trials, data management and statistics)
- Strong knowledge of outcomes research methods, including study design and analysis methods.
- Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of scientific work and publication in industry journals
- Ability to manage people as well as projects
- Ability to travel
