The Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in health economics. Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in economics and a health-related research agenda.
The ideal person for the position has strong research and applied econometric skills and a research agenda that focuses on important health policy and health services issues. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the department, which includes teaching courses in economics for the doctoral and masters degree programs and mentoring graduate students.
