Call for Proposals: The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is pleased to share the following Call for Proposals for Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR): http://www.rwjf.org/cfp/phssr. Approximately $2.4 million will be awarded to up to 12 applicants through this solicitation. Awards will fund projects in the priority areas of Organizational Structure and Authority, Public Health Finance, Public Health Department Performance, Quality Improvement and Accreditation, and Evidence-Based Practice and Return on Investment. The National Network of Public Health Institutes will serve as the Administrative Service Organization and facilitate this Call for Proposals.
This solicitation seeks to engage new researchers in the field of PHSSR. Practitioners, policymakers and researchers from law, public policy, economics, business administration, organizational behavior, finance, urban planning, public administration, and industrial and systems engineering are especially encouraged to apply to be principal investigators. A web conference will be held for interested applicants on September 3, 2009. Brief proposals are due September 22, 2009.
