Epidemiologist
Location: UK
I am currently seeking experienced professional with a strong background in Epidemiology to work for a large global pharmaceutical company based in the UK.
The role
- Contribute to the design, conducting, analysis and documentation of successful epidemiological studies to support pricing of products
- Investigation and development of epidemiological arguments to support marketing position for current and future products
- Assisting in incorporating epidemiological data gathering into clinical trials
Candidate requirements
- Awareness and understanding of epidemiological methods and medical statistics applied to epidemiology
- Proficient in SAS programming
- Good knowledge of computing and experiences in the management of epidemiological data and methods used to organise and analyse large set of epidemiological data
- Good knowledge of designing, conducting and analysing epidemiological/research studies
- Maintaining and developing new development of epidemiological and statistical methodology
- Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant area
- Relevant post-graduate qualification, e.g., MSc in Epidemiology or related discipline would be advantageous
- Knowledge of epidemiological methods and principles: practical application of which is an advantage
