Health Economist: Royal Tropical Institute

Location: Cambodia, South East Asia
Term: 1 month
Start date: September - October 2009

The Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam (KIT) is looking for a health economist to work in Cambodia for 1 month.

We are preparing to make a proposal for an end- of -the- project Evaluation of the extensive Health Sector Support Project. This challenging evaluation will include several international and national experts.

The health economist would work for about one month, starting around September-October this year.

Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of, and experience in health finance in developing countries
  • Extensive experience in conducting evaluation/review studies in the health sector, with a focus on equity, social protection, and health finance issues

Desired:

  • Knowledge of and experience with the health sector in Cambodia/S.E. Asia
