The Mexican National Institute of Public Health seeks an Executive Director for its Center for Evaluation Research and Surveys (CIEE). The mission of the CIEE is to inform health policy through knowledge generation, most specifically through the implementation of national and international surveys and impact evaluations. The CIEE has significant experience evaluating major health and social programs in Mexico, as well as conducting evaluations of a number of programs in countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. The Executive Director is responsible for the management, administration, and leadership of the Center’s activities in accordance with this mission. The CIEE consists of an academic (teaching) department and three research departments: Surveys (with two field divisions), Statistics (with a sampling division), and Economics. The CIEE hosts two Institute-wide academic faculties (Economics and Biostatics) and three Masters degree programs (MPH in Biostatistics, MS in Biostatistics, and MS in Health Economics).
Candidates should possess: a strong background in economics, evaluation, statistics or related field; academic publications; teaching experience; demonstrated leadership abilities; and must be able to work in both Spanish and English.
