Project Leader, Health Economics Modelling: i3 Innovus
Location: Burlington, Ontario
The Project Leader will be involved in all aspects of research activities contracted by i3 Innovus, reporting to the Associate Director/Director/Managing Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research. This includes planning and performing economic/outcomes evaluations, analysis and reporting of studies and contributing to business development through expanded research activities in health services research.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for designing and implementing health economic studies with a specific focus on modelling.
- Preparation and quality assurance of study deliverables, including final reports, manuscripts, posters and presentations.
- Contributes to business development through existing projects.
- Assisting and training Research Associates and Research Analyst I on a project basis, and collaborating with other senior staff.
- Responsible for project resourcing, tracking, forecasting and billing.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication between the sponsor, investigators, other third parties and Innovus team members and management.
- Accountable for the identification, measurement and collection of information.
Experience:
- A postgraduate degree in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, economics or related research field.
- Minimum of 3years of relevant work experience.
- Training and/or experience in health economics and/or outcomes research.
- Training and/or experience in quantitative analytical methods and computer programming.
- Experience with the following software as appropriate: spreadsheet (Excel, VBA), TreeAge Software, database, graphics and text processing.
- Established ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Established ability to work independently or as part of a team.
