Market Access Director

Location: SouthEast England
Salary: Available Upon Application - Up to £90k +
Benefits: Car + Bonus

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to lead the Market Access function of a mid-sized growing pharmaceutical company with a strong pipeline. In addition to driving forward the Market Access of products, you will also be responsible for building the UK division and ensuring HTA submissions are fully prepared and relevant.

The ideal candidate will fulfil a pivotal role in leading this critical function at the forefront of driving business strategy and implementation. This role requires a visionary individual who can translate strategies into tactics and drive execution with the kind of adaptability to influence internal and external stakeholders and KOLs in the UK and have the ability to grow the function.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and communicate strategy for market access, aligned with global and regional vision
  • Lead and manage a team of Market Access functional specialists to ensure flawless implementation of all activities
  • Analyse trends and changes that influence access and implications for the business
  • Ensure HTA submissions are completed on-time for UK approval
  • Ensure creation of integrated Market Access plans for all key brands across a wide degree of therapy areas
  • Represent the national team within a Global and European settings

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience within a similar function
  • Health Economics Degree or significant practical experience and professional reputation within the field
  • Have extensive experience of HTA submissions, Health Economics and/or Outcomes Research experience
  • Have experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device cost-benefit analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Can build a high-performance and diverse team of professionals
  • Prepared to relocate or be close to Amsterdam, Utrecht or Rotterdam

The role would be located in SouthEast England (London) and a relocation package would be available to fulfil the role.

Salary is consummate with experience and is expected to be in line with the roles and responsibilities, also offering an exceptional bonus package.
