Health Economist (UK Based)

Location: London/Home Counties, UK
Position: 6 Month Rolling Contract
Salary: Negotiable

Background

My client is a global Pharmaceutical company which is dedicated to the discovery and development of new medicinal products in numerous therapeutic areas, as part of their continued development they now wish to appoint a Health Economist. This is an outstanding opportunity for advancement within one of the world leading Pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop health economic models, user interfaces and support materials for use in submissions to market access organisations and by sales teams with cost-sensitive NHS customers
  • Obtain source data inputs to health economics analyses
  • Utilise data from a range of sources (e.g. clinical audit, databases) to generate value messages
  • Produce specific quality of life information on existing and development products

Experience / Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Health / Economics
  • Experience of applied health economics in either the pharmaceutical industry, or a contract organisation
  • Demonstrable record of collaborative working
  • Understanding of the NHS, and customer needs for value demonstration
