The Department of Health Care Management at the Berlin University of Technology is pleased to invite applicants for its post-doc fellowship in health economics. The Department of Health Care Management is a WHO Collaborating Centre and has an international reputation for cutting-edge research in health systems and policies.
The fellowship provides a qualified health economist with the opportunity to spend twelve months as a visiting scholar in an intellectually stimulating and collegial environment, and to pursue a variety of interdisciplinary activities. Depending on the qualifications of the guest researcher, a visiting professorship can be awarded.
The fellowship holder will work on one or more projects and will also be expected to contribute to teaching activities at the Department of Health Care Management.
To be eligible, applicants must have completed a PhD in health economics, economics, or health policy research; candidates with a secondary focus in econometrics emphasizing microeconomic applications will be given preference a strong record of peer-reviewed publications in health economics, economics, or health policy research at least three years of work experience relevant to research in health economics proven experience in managing research and delivering results
The fellow will be mentored by the department director and work with faculty members who have compatible research interests in health economics. The fellow will be paid according to the German BAT tariff.
