Closing Date: 06 July 2009
Position: Opportunities within HERG, Health Economics Research Group

Competitive salary offered

This appointment will play a key role in a further phase of development of this flagship Specialist Research Institute. HERG achieved excellent results in the recent RAE and is highly regarded nationally and internationally for policy-relevant, applied health economics research and a growing PhD programme. The University is committed to its further expansion.

The post provides an exciting opportunity to build on the success of HERG with an opportunity to influence its future direction and foci. The professor/reader appointment will be expected to make a major contribution to the future development of the Group. The post is a permanent position and is supported from general University funds, though the successful candidate will be expected to continue to expand the external research funding available to the group.
