We are looking for a Health Technology Assessment Excellence Manager for a vacant position in the Business Support Department which is part of R&D Portfolio Value Development. This opportunity is a newly created position within the R&D Portfolio Value Development which is expanding.

You will develop an integrated approach to HTA knowledge and payers’ understanding, through company-wide networking activities and privileged relationship with the experts’ group. You will implement appropriate initiatives to leverage this knowledge with key internal stakeholders.

You will be expected:

  • to insure a timely and informed follow up, analysis, synthesis and dissemination of the changes occurring in the economic environment likely to impact reimbursement perspectives of sanofi-aventis products, in particular in term of HTA in collaboration with the Intelligence teams.
  • to assist in the preparation of HTA Councils in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. HTA Councils are standing committees of experts and / or decision makers regarding listing/reimbursement of new products in their area/organization or country.
  • to implement necessary actions to optimize and systematize information sharing and HTA knowledge development within/between PVD and its affiliates / region correspondents, and lead relevant networking initiatives.
  • to develop tools and implement actions to support PVD Teams in charge of the preparation of the reimbursement strategy of products in quickly assessing the economic relevance of projects and preparing and delivering high quality value documents / dossiers

You have a 5 years minimum experience in a drug evaluation agency, and /or a Health Economics/ Outcomes Research or Pricing / Reimbursement Department in pharmaceutical industry or in health services research, private or public. You have a deeply knowledge of health economic environment, and demonstrate an expertise in HTA policy and methodology. An additional experience in clinical development (clinical research / regulatory affairs) and / or marketing (market research) would be a plus.

You hold a Master Degree in health related sciences (medicine, pharmacy) or health economy

You should exhibit a proven ability to interact effectively with global, international, cross-functional teams and have strong strategic thinking skills, capacities to analyse and synthesize, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English.

This is a permanent position located in Paris - France.
