Reimbursement Manager Medical Devices /consultant: Synergus
Location: Lund or Stockholm, Sweden
Job Description:
Synergus is a MedTech consulting company in Regulatory, Quality and Business Development. In the regulatory field it supports companies to receive market clearance in Europe, Asia and the US including specialty competence in several areas such as risk management, electrical requirements and combination products biocompatibility. In the business development the main focus is to help start-ups in the development of their business strategies. We are now looking for a Reimbursement Manager, who will be based in our offices in Lund or Stockholm.
The key focus of the Reimbursement Manager position is to establish valuable relationships with key policy makers and influential groups within the reimbursement sector worldwide. The purpose of the position is to develop and execute effective reimbursement strategies that will ensure patient access through appropriate product reimbursement for MedTech companies.
Job responsibilities:
You will be part of a team that develops reimbursement strategies for MedTech companies worldwide. You will be responsible for management of activities from analysing the reimbursement landscape to implementation of a reimbursement strategy on specific markets or other reimbursement activities on selected markets. The work is carried in close collaboration with your clients and will include work on the site of the customers.
These involve:
- Developing and executing effective strategies that will ensure market access.
- Establishing relationships with key policy makers and influential groups within the payer/ reimbursement market sector.
- Management of Health Technology Assessment submissions and reimbursement dossiers.
- Development of economic analyses May perform analytical tasks depending on background, training and experience, using appropriate software tools, such as decision modeling, statistical analyses etc.
Basic qualifications:
Education: Masters level degree in health economics/health sciences
Candidate should have knowledge of healthcare economics, epidemiology, quality of life and clinical research. Experience in reimbursement management/market access strategies is preferred Strong analytical skills Fluency in English is a must. Another European language is a plus.
