Global Project Leader, Health Economics, Outcomes & Reimbursement

Location: New Jersey, USA

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as principal contact to all in-house and external partners.
  • Designing, writing and seeking approval for the Global HEOR plan ensuring its integration into the Clinical Development Plan.
  • Collecting information and obtaining feedback from in-house experts on product characteristics, the disease and the population targeted by the new treatment.
  • Developing external collaborations with leading academic and other health care institutions.
  • Supervising activities related to the scientific studies and projects in the global HEOR plan.
  • For clinical trials in Phases II and III, writing sections of study protocols that refer to the collection, analysis and reporting of outcomes data.
  • Reviewing and providing input to study designs regarding study population, endpoints, comparators, duration and modalities of patients follow-up, in order to maximize the value of study results to regulatory and economic decision makers.
  • Identifying needs and proposing designs for Phase IIIb and IV outcomes research trials.
  • Providing all necessary information and input regarding the budgetary planning.
  • Maintaining and further expanding disease and drug expertise from contacts and work with in-house and external experts.
  • Maintaining and further expanding epidemiology, health economic and health-related quality-of-life expertise in the assigned therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in a health care field, with clinical research exposure and 4 years experience conducting HEOR studies, OR MPH or MS Degree in a healthcare field with 6 years of experience conducting such studies. Good organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for optimal teamwork Fluency in English. German language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential
