Global Project Leader, Health Economics, Outcomes & Reimbursement

Location: New Jersey, USA

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as principal contact to all in-house and external partners.
  • Designing, writing and seeking approval for the Global HEOR plan ensuring its integration into the Clinical Development Plan.
  • Collecting information and obtaining feedback from in-house experts on product characteristics, the disease and the population targeted by the new treatment.
  • Developing external collaborations with leading academic and other health care institutions.
  • Supervising activities related to the scientific studies and projects in the global HEOR plan.
  • For clinical trials in Phases II and III, writing sections of study protocols that refer to the collection, analysis and reporting of outcomes data.
  • Reviewing and providing input to study designs regarding study population, endpoints, comparators, duration and modalities of patients follow-up, in order to maximize the value of study results to regulatory and economic decision makers.
  • Identifying needs and proposing designs for Phase IIIb and IV outcomes research trials.
  • Providing all necessary information and input regarding the budgetary planning.
  • Maintaining and further expanding disease and drug expertise from contacts and work with in-house and external experts.
  • Maintaining and further expanding epidemiology, health economic and health-related quality-of-life expertise in the assigned therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in a health care field, with clinical research exposure and 4 years experience conducting HEOR studies, OR MPH or MS Degree in a healthcare field with 6 years of experience conducting such studies. Good organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for optimal teamwork Fluency in English. German language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential

Global Health Outcomes Director (or Senior Manager)

Location: London, England, UK

Summary

A HEOR director or senior manager is required to steer the HO strategy for assets from early discovery through to Phase III, by our longstanding client, from their London site. This is a high profile role and offers and exceptional opportunity to demonstrate further career successes by driving forward a massive roll-out of new drug development.

This heavyweight opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Economics Outcomes Research professional to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external health outcomes key opinion leaders whilst building progressive partnerships.

You will take a lead role in pushing forward my clients product pipeline across therapeutic areas and provide leadership in strategy development and evidence packages.

Qualifications

Possessing an MSc, PhD, MD, MPH of ParmD background, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated strengths providing leadership, customer focus, business knowledge and leadership in the Health Outcomes field and Health Economics experience in Health Outcomes, Reimbursement, Market Access or a related industry field. You will also have a tactical knowledge of Health Outcomes research at the therapy and product level.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement Health Outcomes strategies within disease/product level and support the commercial objectives of products during development and launch.
  • Research and represent insights from the global pricing reimbursement and access environment to support the strategic direction of assets and develop appropriate evidence throughout research and development.
  • Provide relevant outcome strategies, to develop, translate and analyse patient reported outcomes to support effective registration and product differentiation.
  • Represent Health Outcomes and manage relationships within matrix bodies to ensure provision of HO information to support internal decision making during product development and commercialisation.
  • Execute the funding principles and effectively drive the budget building process for HO projects with relevant partners/sponsors
  • Represent Global health Outcomes at a disease and product level at external scientific meetings and forums (at Director and Senior Managerial level)
