Health Economist
Location: San Antonio, Texas, USA
Our client is a medical device manufacturer with domestic and international operations, based in San Antonio TX. We are looking for a Health Economist who can develop cost effectiveness strategies for medical device products for the international market.
Background sought:
- Masters in Public Health, Health Policy or Health Economics; will also consider Masters in Economics with professional experience in health care or PharmD.
- 2 - 3 years experience in medical device health economics or government health care financing policy analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, research methods, budget impact models, QALY models, and Markov models.
- Demonstrated knowledge of International healthcare policy-making & financing processes, the medical device industry, and health economics strategies and implications for healthcare stakeholders.
